Formed in 2018 the Carolina Chosen Lions joined the East Coast Basketball League (ECBL) for the 2019 season. The Chosen Lions play home games at Rocky Mount Prep Gymnasium.

2019: Chosen Lions (3-9) finished in third place of the four-team ECBL Northwest Division. In the division playoffs the team came close to an upset, but ultimately fell short against the Petersburg Cavaliers 107-106.
